By paying the workshop invoice, you agree to the following terms.
1. Enrollment and Payment
Tuition for the six-week Scene Stormers Workshop is $600. Enrollment is confirmed when payment is received. Your place is not guaranteed until payment is complete.
2. Workshop Participation
The workshop includes live group instruction, weekly scene writing, and individualized coach feedback as described in the workshop materials.
Participants are responsible for meeting submission deadlines and attending or reviewing workshop sessions. Missed sessions or submissions do not entitle a participant to additional sessions, replacement coaching, or a partial refund.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
There is a nonrefundable administrative fee of $100. Participants who cancel five or more business days before the workshop begins will receive a partial tuition refund of $500. Refunds will be decreased by $100 after each weekly workshop takes place.
Up to the first weekly workshop: $400
Up to the 2nd weekly workshop $300
Up to the 3rd weekly workshop $200
No refunds will be issued after Week 3.
If Scene Stormers cancels the workshop, participants will receive a full refund.
4. Coaching and Results
Scene Stormers provides instruction and editorial feedback intended to help writers develop their craft. Participation does not guarantee publication, representation, commercial success, or any particular writing outcome.
5. Participant Work
Participants retain all rights to their original writing. By submitting work to the workshop, participants give Scene Stormers and their assigned coach permission to review and discuss that work for workshop purposes only.
Participants may not copy, share, publish, or distribute another participant’s work without permission.
6. Scene Stormers Materials
Workshop lessons, recordings, worksheets, presentations, rubrics, and other instructional materials are provided for the participant’s personal use. They may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or shared publicly without written permission from Scene Stormers.
7. Recordings and Privacy
Live workshop sessions may be recorded and made available to enrolled participants. Participants should assume that comments made during recorded sessions may appear in those recordings.
Workshop recordings will remain available to participants for 90 days after the workshop ends.
8. Community Conduct
Participants are expected to treat other writers, coaches, and staff respectfully and to maintain the confidentiality of work and personal information shared within the workshop.
Scene Stormers reserves the right to remove a participant whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, or harmful to the workshop community.
9. Technology
Participants are responsible for having the equipment, internet access, and accounts necessary to use the workshop platforms. Scene Stormers is not responsible for technical problems arising from a participant’s equipment or internet connection.
10. Agreement
Payment of the workshop invoice confirms that the participant has read and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
